Things are looking up for the Chatham NJ real estate market. Homes are selling at a brisk pace again, and reasonable home sellers can sell for fair market value. Of course home sellers in Chatham New Jersey need to strike a balance, they need to price their homes just so, or the home buyers will go someplace else.
Chatham New Jersey has a lot to offer the new potential home owner. Great schools, the Midtown Direct train line, a very walkable downtown, very beautiful tree lined streets, relatively low property taxes, & a proud citizenship who help to keep Chatham the wonderful place it is. Chatham is most definatly a place to get a house beautiful NJ.

I belong to an Austin Texas office- Sky Realty. I live & home office in Leander, Texas. As REALTORS we see similar communities and face the same problems no matter where we are on this Earth. Leander is growing really fast and is planned to develop into what you describe Chatham New Jersey to be. We have great schools- the Leander Independant School District. We will soon have a commuter rail line into downtown Austin Texas. A very walkable TOD (Transit Oriented Development) is planned. Trees are being planted and existing trees preserved. I totally agree that regardless of how nice a community is, sellers MUST realize pricing needs to be relevant to the CURRENT market.
