The spring real estate market continues to move forward in a very positive way along the Midtown Direct train line.
Every day I am amazed by the number of people who are interested in real estate. After all the news media would have us all believe that there are no home buyers out there.
The current situation in the Midtown Direct towns is that we are still in a buyers market, but it is a mild buyers market. Buyers who wait thinking that they have all the time in the world are finding that homes they were interested in are suddenly under contract.
What I am seeing is homes which are nice and price properly are selling quickly. Lesson here for home buyers is, if you are instantly in love with a home when you walk into it, likely that someone else will be as well. Instantly in love usually means someone writes a offer for the home.

Great advice, but I would suggest that buyers try to avoid falling in love with a house – emotions can cloud judgment when it comes to the value of a property. When you love a house, you are likely to pay more. If you do find a home you like, it helps to try to keep your feelings under wraps. Try to look at the property objectively – an assessor and inspector can help you see the property more realistically. Try to keep in mind that there are many homes out there that are perfect for you.

Well put and that’s good news to hear that markets are picking up. I’ve been reading it a lot lately.
The pricing has always been important - homes priced right sell and that’s the bottom line.
