As you all may know Summit New Jersey is one of the most popular towns along the Midtown Direct train line. It is popular for many reasons.
- Summit NJ has great public schools
- Summit NJ sits at the hub of the Midtown Direct train line (37 minutes to NYC Penn Station)
- Summit has a wonderful 1950’s style downtown which is very walkable
- Summit has considerably lower taxes than its equally wonderful neighbor to the North Millburn NJ (Short Hills)
With all this going for it, how is the Summit NJ real estate market doing? Quite well actually. Summit has more the weathered the storm that was the downturn of the New Jersey as well as National real estate market.

As you can see the Summit NJ real estate market has seen its ups and downs these past 12 months, though currently it sure does feel like we are on a up swing as far as the home buyer interest and activity levels.
