Transit Village at the Morristown NJ train station is likely the cause for the 15 to 30 extra parking tickets being written every day at the Convent Station train station, say Morris Twp. Officials.
The 128 space parking lot across the street from the Morristown train station closed in early January and will not reopen until July of 2009 when the Transit Village project is completed. Transit Village will bring up to 400 additional parking spaces to the Morristown train station as well as create new rental apartments to the Morristown train station area.
Needing to take the train? Be careful the police are watching close, make sure to park legally.

interesting, I was wondering what was going on next to the Morristown train station. New rental homes in Morristown, just what we need, NOT.
